The Victrex Product Line
This overview of the Victrex product family includes variations of the original VICTREX PEEK product including VICTREX PEEK-HT, blends of the polymer such as Victrex T-Series, semi-finished forms such as APTIV™ Films and formulated materials like VICTREX PEEK compounds and VICOTE® Coatings. While product grades are available to address specific requirements, the basic material properties – high-temperature performance, chemical and wear resistance – are featured in all product forms.
VICTREX® PEEK™ Polymers
VICTREX PEEK is manufactured in the form of pellets for injection molding and extrusion processes. It is a repeat unit comprised of oxy-1, 4-phenylenoeoxy-1, 4-phenylene-carbonyl-1, 4-phenylene.
The polymer’s properties mean that it is being increasingly chosen for use in energy industry applications including compressors, bearings, subsea umbilicals, tubulars, electrical connectors, seals, and plugs.
VICTREX PEEK polymer benefits:

APTIV™ Films
APTIV Films, produced in one of the most technologically advanced extrusion facilities in the world, offer all of the properties of VICTREX PEEK polymer in a flexible format.
Several grades of APTIV Film are available to support specific end-use application needs, which vary in thicknesses ranging from 6 to 750 microns. The standard width of APTIV Film is 610 mm, although some films can be provided in widths up to 1,500 mm and as low as 45 mm.

VICOTE® Coatings
Our high temperature performance coatings for improved durability and thermal performance. VICOTE Coating powder and liquid dispersions, based on VICTREX PEEK polymer, can be used as a stand-alone material or to compliment other coatings such as flouropolymers.
Their excellent substrate adhesion capabilities eliminate the need for a primer during the coating process. The primer-free process, plus the ability to achieve very thin coatings contribute to reduced system costs. In addition, VICOTE Coatings can improve application wear performance and the lifespan of the coated parts.

- Four times the wear resistance of flouropolymers, with virtually no particle sloughing
