Significantly higher permeation resistance
VICTREX PEEK polymer is one of the most permeation resistant polymers available on the market today. Permeation rates of H2S, CO2 and methanol are very low even at elevated temperature which can reduce part degradation and downtime. Similarly, PEEK products also provide high resistance to liquid permeation.

Use in carbon fiber composites
Victrex polymers are successfully used in a variety of forms (powder, film and filament) as a matrix material in the manufacture of advanced thermoplastic composite prepregs made of carbon, glass or aramid continuous fibres to produce extremely lightweight and strong structural parts.
