Victrex plc Wins RoSPA President’s Award
05/19/2008Thornton Cleveleys, –Victrex plc, the leading manufacturer of high performance materials, including VICTREX® PEEK™ polymer, has won the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) President’s Award. The President’s Award was given to Victrex in recognition of its remarkable achievement of maintaining a high level of occupational health and safety performance and being awarded a Gold Achievement Award over a sustained period of eleven consecutive years. Victrex won the Gold Achievement Award in recognition of the company’s excellent management of in-house health and safety systems during 2007.

The RoSPA Awards scheme celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2006, making it one of the longest running and most highly respected occupational award programmes in the UK.

This year’s awards are sponsored by NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), the leading health and safety professional examining board.
